Becareful of what you eat

It is important that we are careful of the things we eat. As I spend time playing or more like observing my little nephew Denzel explore his world last sunday, I realised something about kids. They put everything into their mouth. It is the job of an adult to keep a look out of the things he grabs cos it might end up in his mouth the next instant. No one will know how fast or how slow he will put it in. Just have to be prepared.

Same for Christanity. Sometimes we see people backsliding or not doing well, cos of the things they feed on. It may be a wrong doctorine or perhaps they mixed with the wrong crowd. Faith comes by hearing and so does fear. In the multitude of counsellers, there is safety, the opposite is true. Mixing with the wrong people will lead to the "lack of faith" being imparted. A child will not know how to differentiate what can be eaten and what can't. It's is the duty of the adult supervising to help look through. The roles of connect group ICs and CGLs and Pastors serve such a role. Guard what gets fed to the congregation but not over do it else, a child will never know how to feed himself.

At times, I hear ppl telling me wa, this book is great, this song is great, got special revelation. The first thing I will do is to see who the author / song writer is. If the spirit is ok, most of the time, the things will be ok. If not, it's not. It is sad to see adults putting trash into thier mouths and wat's more, consume it. That's when they start to not do well. By then they are no longer adults but are nothing more than a child. We need more adults to start supervising else we are just going to have more children falling sick cos of the wrong stuff they are feeding on. This sickness will then spread and if we do not contain it, it will be an epedemic.

I agree with wat u say... that CG ICs and CGLs are to guard them and prevent them from consuming the wrong foods. but sometimes, they dun listen to us. We try our best to stop, but stubborn babies as they are, refuse to listen, and we cant help these... It's so sad...

Got to stay teachable... Open to the advice of the Godly...
